General Motors and Ford Car Sales Are Down in Canada

US auto sales, General Motors Co. and Ford Motor Co. in Canada fell in November. General Motors only managed to sell its car in Canada as much as 23,612 units in the last month, down by 17.2% compared to the achievement of the same month last year.

“Chevrolet accounts for more than half of total sales,” the Detroit-based automaker said in a statement.

Ford last month only sold 23,788 units, down 2.8 percent from the same month last year. The company argued, the decline was due to low demand.

In total, General Motors has sold 283,025 cars this year in Canada, and Ford is slightly higher at 291,104 units.
